Leopard förlag is an independent publishing house, based in Stockholm, Sweden. It publishes both non-fiction and fiction titles, focusing on reportage, debate, history and popular science, as well as literature predominantly from Africa and Asia. At Leopard förlag, we believe that books are the best way to understand other people and cultures and we aim to publish books that will reflect society in Sweden and the world.
Leopard förlag was founded in 2001 by publisher Dan Israel and author Henning Mankell. Our authors include names such as Henning Mankell, Åke Edwardson, Lena Sundström, Mattias Gardell, Simon Singh, Tom Holland, Maryse Condé, Assia Djebar and Barbara Ehrenreich.
